After the longest winter in living history – 5 months of dark, cold, snow, floods and misery – the sun has finally put his hat on. So do we tentatively venture out in our sunnies and a slightly more lightweight coat? By crikey no! London today is awash with vest tops, strappy sun dresses, flip flops, bare-chested workmen and postmen in shorts.
And no doubt by 6pm tonight the pavement outside every pub in the capital will be jam packed, and stocks of Magners Cider and Rose Wine (both over ice) will once again run dry. God love us!
