Just read a good post on TechCrunch.com on Key Social Media Trends To Look For in 2012. I was particularly pleased to see their point on big businesses having to finally wake up, and that simply setting up a Twitter account and Facebook page isn’t what it’s all about.
“The way corporate entities approach social media is shifting. Many companies realize that setting up Twitter, YouTube and Facebook accounts is not going to cut it as their social media strategy. Brands will need to seriously shift their perspective by treating social channels more like communication channels and less like an advertising channels in order to make a difference.”

I do love these Infographics. For someone like me who likes nothing better than some good old stats (mixed in with lovely graphs and pictures) they are perfect.
